Castleton library

Brief description

The library is constructed with Accrington brick and Staffordshire roof tiles to a design by Jesse Horsfall.

Current status: The library moved out in 2007. News in February 2016 (see below) was that it had been bought by a local businessman and was to be refurbished and reopened. It will be part used by a local business, and part by the local community. (2017)
